FAMILY FUN EVENTS

To mark special occasions throughout the year we invite families to celebrate Valentine’s Day, Easter, Halloween and Christmas at The Willows.

Our Family Fun sessions are an opportunity for your family to enjoy a wide range of Forest School themed activities in the great outdoors at our tranquil willow setting.  Activities often include the opportunity to:

• Create natural/woodland crafts using tools 

  
  

• Make mud pies and mixtures in our mud kitchen  

  
  

• Swing on the rope and tyre-swings  

  
  

• Light a fire with a flint and steel  

  
  

• Ride our raft   

  
  

• Build dens and play games together  

  
  

A homemade meal is prepared and served from the fire and a sweet treat can be created by the fire.  Previous meals served have included; chilli and rice, chicken curry, butchers sausages and burgers. Complimented with breads, condiments and salads. 

Hot drinks and squash will be on offer too.

It is important that all family members come dressed in appropriate clothing and suitable footwear. There will be an opportunity to make mud pies and ride the raft, so spare clothes/footwear is advisable!

The sessions usually start at 11:00am or 2.00pm, and last 2 hours.
